HISTORY

Euro Demolition was founded in 2001 and has since then developed into a highly specialized onshore demolition and offshore wreck removal company. From the start Euro Demolition has focused on specialized onshore demolition activities. In the first years the company acquired ample experience in demolition projects acting mainly as subcontractor. Based on this experience combined with in-house technical know- how Euro Demolition has developed and engineered highly specialized machines and tools, in particular focusing on extremely high-cutting power techniques and very large demolition tools.

Since 2005 Euro Demolition has moved into wreck removal activities as subcontractor, by using its special cutting techniques with highly modified cranes thereby enabling a cutting technology below sea level.

In 2008 the company further expanded its asset base with a barge which is fully equipped and specified for wreck removal projects. Since then Euro Demolition has increasingly focused on performing offshore projects as main contractor.

In April 2011 Euro Demolition relaunched its operations after having attracted new capital. A new group of investors that was formed around Value Enhancement Partners from Amsterdam acquired the business. Euro Demolition is convinced that in this new set-up and by investing in new equipment and personnel, it will be able to further expand its highly specialized onshore and offshore demolition techniques

In 2011 Euro Demolition formed a strategic partnership with Hapo International Barges thereby ensuring access to an even broader base of expertise and assets, a.o. through the usage of -a 250t cranebarge and 5 seagoing barges enabling the company to perform multiple wreck removals at the same time.
